Land is the most commonly disputed asset in Cameroon, and the most commonly mis-sold. We verify title before money moves, structure acquisitions and developments, and litigate when title, boundaries or possession are contested.
Verify the title, then verify the seller
A genuine title held by someone who is not entitled to sell is the most common trap in Cameroonian property transactions. We check the register, the chain of transmission, the matrimonial and succession position of the seller, and any encumbrances, before a deposit is paid.
